When you are 17, have plans to attend college out of state, and are so excited about all life has to offer, being very ill and learning you have endometriosis, a debilitating disease, is not easy. Endometriosis turns your life around and you realize that you may not be able to do all the things you once dreamed. It is an emotional, as well as a very painful, journey.

By the grace of God and my strong-willed and bright mother, I ended up in Doctor Ceana Nezhat’s office. He has performed two major surgeries on me. The last surgery was a bowel resection and as soon as I woke up from surgery, I felt better. The pressure and agonizing pain were gone. It was amazing. Plus, I have no visible scars from the surgeries due to Dr. Nezhat’s minimally invasive techniques.

There are few people in life I feel as much gratitude toward or trust as much as I do Dr. Nezhat. He saved my life and continues to do so. He has listened, healed, and motivated me every step of the way. Angela, his nurse, works tirelessly with him making sure that I am okay. Having endometriosis, an incurable disease, is scary, painful and difficult but knowing that I have Doctor Nezhat makes it less scary and doable. I know I can trust Dr. Nezhat to take care of me and help me in any way in the future that I may need. Words cannot describe how grateful I am for that.

For any girl out there hurting, scared and looking for help, trust Dr. Nezhat. There is not a doctor who knows more in the field, is more talented, smart, or caring than Dr. Nezhat. He is the best. My mother, aunt and I all trust Dr. Nezhat and have had surgery performed by him.

Dr. Nezhat, you are a wonderful, wonderful doctor and person. I am so blessed to have you as my doctor! You may even be my guardian angel Thank you, thank you, thank you a million times.

Thank you to Angela, Mary Ann and all the Nezhat Medical Team! You are all angels.
