Here, Dr. Ceana Nezhat is pictured with Romy Neumark, an Israeli broadcaster and news anchor, and Dr. Shlomo Mashiach, a leading gynecologist in Israel and one of the founders of the Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University. Ms. Neumark, who acted as Master of Ceremony for the meeting, was the 1st IVF baby in Israel and the 5th in the world.

Dr.  Mashiach is considered the founder of the first block in vitro fertilization in the country (Medical Center “Sheba” – Tel Hashomer), creating a unit accompanied by the invention of many innovative achievements in this field. This department is also where the first pregnancy using frozen embryos from donated oocytes was carried out.
