Excellent Endometriosis Specialist. I’m 4 years post severe stage 4 deep infiltrating endometriosis excision surgery. I was a total disaster before my surgery and Nezhat was amazing and got me on a path back to functioning in life. This is the doctor to see for (gyn /pelvic /hormone) severe problems. So if your case is severe this is where you want to be – with an absolute expert. Everyone is not an endo expert (even when they think they are) so do your research and understand what’s going on in your body to know what surgeon you need in the operating room. The entire cake! i.e. Dr. Nezhat is the cake his nurses and staff is the icing! 31 years with this man as my doc. With the exception of my husband, he has been the best man in my life.

I recommend Dr. Nezhat frequently for complicated/complex issues. (Endometriosis, cancer screenings, etc)
However, as a patient, you will have to make sure of your own care path. If you don’t, appointment scheduling may be missed or forgotten. Not good when the doctor is supposed to be managing your hormones monthly. The communication between Dr. Nezhat and his staff leaves you confused. You may hear one thing and then another thing which causes great stress. I do not feel Dr. Nezhat’s bloodwork reviews are in depth and he leaves you with very little information. I was told I need a hysterectomy when after many second opinions, I absolutely do not. I was given a thyroid medicine that only took care of T4, not T3 and T4 like I was taking for years. This was a disaster. The staff canceled a hormone appt. by mistake causing so many health issues. This lead me to leave the practice. The additional health issues cost me a lot of money outside of Dr. Nezhat’s office, but they obviously don’t care about that part.”

They take extremely good care of their patients! Love them!

I Hope you and your family and staff had a wonderful holiday season and a happy new year. My husband and I are back from our 2 year trip in Madrid. The time There was amazing… mainly because of you! Since the two surgeries (you performed) in 2019 and 2020, I have been at my best physically and emotionally and never felt better! We were able to quickly conceive naturally while in Madrid and had our first baby boy February 2, 2022! I loved being pregnant! We had a c-section per your recommendation at 39 weeks. I recovered quickly and felt well within two weeks. We conceived naturally AGAIN 1 September 2022…and I’m having another Baby Boy in June 2023!! You have been a true gift to us…getting rid of endometriosis (and lots of other issues) has given me life and in turn already giving MORE life!! I love Dr.Nezhat and everyone who works in the office. From the moment I began communication with them it was easy. I am young, 22, and I attended my first appointment alone because it was hard for family to get off of work. Although my family wasn’t able to attend with me, the staff and Dr. made me feel so comfortable. I also had surgery a few weeks later and everything went well! Dear Dr. Nezhat, I can’t express how grateful I am for the gift(s) you have given to my daughter. I have been reflecting on the chain of events that has led up to her chance to lead a life where joy has replaced the horrible pain she has endured. I don’t know if you remember this but I asked you “who or what” they/it was that inspired you and your brothers to reach an elite status in your careers as experts on endometriosis and related issues with women, and you told me it was your mother. Because of her, you and your brothers have changed the trajectory for so many women. But you have not only given my daughter a chance for a life with limited to no pain, you saved her life. I now know why you offered to remove her appendix, it was much more than a small gift – who knows you would be removing a carcinoid. You were there with the precision cutting edge tools and expertise to remove the retroperitoneal fibrosis and the endometriosis. You saved her life. And this week, you made sure that no further damage was done by the ticking time bomb she has in her pelvis. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will find a way to pay your kindness forward and back to you.

I cannot recommend Dr. Nezhat and his team enough! After over a decade of trying to find care for my health issues, I finally found the care that I needed with him and my life has changed for the better because of him. He takes the time to really listen and care about what is going on with his patients, and perform every test and exam possible to get to every single root cause of the problems and actually fix it. He doesn’t drag the process out either, after one visit I had a working diagnosis and an action plan including surgery. He performed my surgery, and the level of care I received before, during, and after surgery was above and beyond all expectations. I am 3 weeks out from surgery and already feeling better than I have in years. Every member of his team is unbelievably kind and helpful during the entire process from scheduling appointments, managing prescriptions/pharmacies, billing and insurance, and intake.
