It has taken me a few months to get to the point of being able to put into words what Dr Nezhat has done for me and to write this review. Dr Nezhat saved my life. I had been getting sicker and sicker over the last 2-3 years. I had seen 3 Gastroenterologist, 4 gynecologist/gynecological surgeons, 1 neurologist and had gone to the Mayo clinic for weeks at a time with no resolve. I have had MRI’s, CT scans, X-rays, blood tests and a laundry list of other tests to determine why I was in so much pain and so sickly all the time. I have had 2 abdominal surgeries and later a partial hysterectomy, leaving my ovaries. And I was still in so much pain and got no relief. I told my husband twice I thought I was dying, and I truly was tired of living in constant unbearable pain that I wanted to die. My husband told me to go and see Dr Nezhat, as his family members had great success with him as their doctor. Dr. Nezhat is 100% the most knowledgeable and educated Doctor in his field. He is extensively published, and I felt there was no doctor better in the world to review my case. I called and spoke with his amazing and caring staff. They organized my visit and gathered all the medical history. I had an exam and met with Dr Nezhat after he reviewed my lengthy history. About 1 month after he began reviewing my case, he scheduled me for surgery. Dr Nezhat was the only doctor that found the issues and decided to do exploratory surgery on my abdomen. I am very glad he did! This was a life-changing event for me! He spent the time going through my entire abdomen, organ by organ. Cleaned, repaired and put them back in place where they belonged. The surgery took about 6.5 hours total with recovery. Dr Nezhat is one of the most compassionate and caring doctors I have ever met and I have seen many. He truly cares for his patients, their healing and well-being above all else. I highly recommend not giving up on yourself and your pain! Schedule to see Dr Nezhat. I highly recommend Dr. Nezhat for anybody struggling with endometriosis or for those who suspect they may have it. I appreciate Dr. Ceana Nezhat very much for taking my case. I’ve spent the last decade suffering off and on with bloating, extreme fatigue, ovarian cysts, and an inability to tolerate most foods. These are not necessarily symptoms that general doctors associate with endometriosis. While I did find communication a little difficult, especially in the beginning, I truly felt lucky to have had him perform my surgery. I am grateful to Dr. Nezhat and at 8 weeks out from surgery, I have significantly less pain and bloating along with a lot more energy. I believe he is an excellent surgeon and hope he can help you as well if you are reading this review.
